"Don’t Step into Danger" - 3D Chalk Drawings
"Don’t Step into Danger" - 3D Chalk Drawings: In Auckland City, over 70% of road crashes involving pedestrians occur on main roads. At least the official statistics state so. So the Auckland City Council (Pedestrian Safety) decided to take precaution measures, and used attractive 3D Chalk drawings to warn their citizens of the danger that lurks them on every step. The campaign involves Fire, Sharks and Snakes, and is titled "Don’t step into danger". This decision greatly reminds me of Philadelphia's effort to slowdown speedy drivers using fake 3D speed-bumps. Remember that one? Be also sure to check 3D Chalk Drawings and Billboards category for more optical illusions like this one! The advertising agency responsible: Ogilvy, New Zealand.
