Vector art is one of the most inspiring and versatile forms of graphic design that exists. A new form of vector art called “Vexel” is a relatively new trend. Vexel imitates vector art and is still pixel-based, yet uses tranparent layers rather than typical vector lines, shapes and polygons. Vexel can truly add amazing depth that otherwise would be nearly impossible to achieve solely with vector. Below, you will find the most outstanding vector/vexel illustrations. These creations were made by 25 excellent artists that can be found on the fast-growing art sharing community called: Shadowness.
